LAOS

!
Here we are .. back in Vientiane before jumping on the bus to
Bangkok to catch our flight to India.... A full month in Laos
with many ups and downs... but a happy end indeed ... We'll
definitely have to go back to Luang Nam Tha in the North East
another time... Well, as a quick synopsis, Laos certainly ain't
the easiest of countries to get around. Good information itself
is hard to come by and things were constantly changing. Definately
worth the effort though, along with the the famously friendly
people and stunning landscapes our trip here offered something
different to the countries visited previously. Highlights being,
the chance to stay with some of the people in the hill tribes,
taking in the temples around Luang Phabang and travelling up
country the slow way by boat. bus, lorry-bus etc...
More time definately would have been appreciated, but we say
that with every country we leave....and a few mishaps along
the way we cound have done without...but, all is well that ends
well .. innit ... |
